A polymer concrete drainage system manufactured in Poland. The system is suited for application’s from low loading to heavy‑duty loading applications such as public areas, commercial/industrial yards, car parks and service stations where slow‑moving heavy vehicles operate. The system is available in several widths and in 1.0 m or 0.5 m lengths, with different grating options. For the LCA representative unit assessed in this study (SELF 100 in B125 configuration), the dimensions are: weight 1kg; overall height 100 mm; internal width (B) 100 mm; external width (D) 120 mm. The drainage channel selected for the study is composed of a polymer concrete channel (71%), a ductile iron grating (27%), low-alloy steel fixings (1%) and polyamide locking arms (1%). The product is manufactured to BS EN 1433.
