Profiles and frames (without glass) are assembled at the AMS factory site. The raw materials comprise, by weight percentage: aluminium profile, (55-57), PVC/foam/EPDM (31-33), hardware (9-12), powder coat (2). Aluminium profiles are painted and then assembled with PVC strips and injected polyurethane foam insulation and then cut to size. The completed profiles are then assembled into the designed window/door unit size, with the addition of handles, locks, receivers, etc.. Finished products are packaged in light plastic bubble wrap packaging for dispatch to the customer, where glass units are fitted.
