The objective of this report is to explore the opportunity of introducing Building Renovation Passports (BRPs) in Ireland.

BRPs empower homeowners to undertake deep energy retrofits by providing a set of actions, a sequenced plan and estimated costs. BRPs address the barriers to consumer decision-making by giving homeowners the technical information they need to make informed choices. BRPs also embed long-term climate goals into the short- and medium-term renovation steps.
