This EPD is for Partel’s EXOPERM MONO 150 breathable monolithic membrane, EXOPERM MONO SA 250 (self adhesive) breathable monolithic membrane, and NEXOSEAL MONO TAPE. The raw materials are predominantly polyester elastomer bonded to a non-woven or scrim, with a small amount of ink printing on the surface, to ensure correct installation, and adhesive (in the case of the EXOPERM MONO SA 250 self-adhesive product and NEXOSEAL MONO TAPE). NEXOSEAL MONO is an advanced vapour permeable tape based upon proven Monolithic Technology. It provides and air and vapour barrier at building junctions, including window frames and slab edges. The advanced adhesive ensures a long-lasting connection between the breather membrane/vapour control layer and other building elements. The tape is designed to avoid water ingress, air leakage, and is vapour open ensuring breathability. NEXOSEAL MONO TAPE is self-sealing and does not require overlap tapes when applied to Partel breather membranes and vapour control layers.
The function of the products is to act as a vapour transport mechanism that permits the transport of vapour from
the inside of the building to the outside, whist acting as a wind-tight and water-tight barrier.
