This EPD is for Cold-mix Asphalt bitumen emulsion. It is manufactured at the COLAS Bitumen Emulsion production facility at Deerpark Industrial Estate, Oranmore, Co. Galway, Ireland. The main components of the bitumen emulsion are: bitumen, water, emulsifier, solvent, acid and additives. The bitumen emulsion is mixed onsite with site-won planed asphalt as a stabilising agent to enable planed asphalt to be re-laid on the road surface.
