This EPD is carried out for the MEDITE LITE MDF panel. MEDITE MDF panels are manufactured in accordance with I.S. EN 622-5:2009, Fibrepanels – Specifications, Part 5: Requirements for dry processed panels (MDF). The constituent raw materials of the MDF panels comprise: wood logs, wood chips and additives such as MDI, urea, resin, fire retardant and wax. By weight, wood comprises 91%, additions 7% and water 2%. The intended use of the MDF panels is in the construction industry in structural and non-structural applications, such as flooring, roofing, walling, timber-frame sheathing, temporary works and external hoarding.
